A Sign of a Great Apostasy
When God called Abraham out He called Him alone:
“BUT THOU, ISRAEL, ART MY SERVANT, JACOB WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN, THE SEED OF ABRAHAM MY FRIEND. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, THOU ART MY SERVANT I HAVE CHOSEN THEE, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. FEAR NOT, THOU WORM JACOB, AND YE MEN OF ISRAEL; I WILL HELP THEE, SAITH THE LORD, AND THY REDEEMER, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL.” (Isaiah 41:8‑14; 43:10; 44:1-2; John 13:18)
Then God said in Genesis 18:18:
“Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED IN HIM?”
So it has been since that time. The White Race, the people known today as the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Scandinavian, Celtic, Nordic, Slavic have blessed all the nations of the earth. For no other race has created a civilization. Although the other races will object to this and misguided Christians will cry out that is not so! It is true and anyone that is honest and has done even a little study of history knows this to be true.
Christ Himself said of our Israel people in Matthew 5:14:
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
For a second witness we find in John 8:12:
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I (Christ) am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Therefore when we speak of the light being put out as is related in Joel 2:10:
“The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun (Jacob/Israel) and the moon (Rachel) shall be dark, and the stars (Tribes of Israel) shall withdraw their shining.”
For a second witness we find in Joel 3:15:
“The sun (Jacob/Israel) and the moon (Rachel) shall be darkened, and the stars (Tribes of Israel) shall withdraw their shining.”
Many, at this point, will say why do you say the sun, the moon and the stars are Jacob, Rachel and the tribes of Israel. The answer is found in Genesis 37:9‑10:
“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, WHAT IS THIS DREAM THAT THOU HAST DREAMED? SHALL I AND THY MOTHER AND THY BRETHREN INDEED COME TO BOW DOWN OURSELVES TO THEE IN THE EARTH?”
So we can see that what is of utmost significance today for the Christian to understand is the correlation of the signs of the Great Apostasy with the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul exhorts us in II Thessalonians 2:1‑3:
“Now we beseech you, brethren (Israelites), by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”
As we look around the world today we can see that our people are deserting Christ and the Christian Faith in droves. Throughout Western Christendom, Eastern mysticism doctrines of spiritual intuitive truth through transcendental metaphysical meditation are attracting followers from every sector of society.
The New Age spirituality is rejecting the very foundation principles of the Christian Faith. The deepening rejection of the modern-day church of the Ladodiceans (Revelation 3:14-15) is manifest often in the least expected ways and places as recently happened in the cloistered halls of a traditional Lutheran University. In its hallowed halls where, on Reformation Sundays, generations of hearts, young and old, were lifted by Hamdel’s “Messiah” and Luther’s hymn based on the 46th Psalm:
“A might Fortress is our God...God’s truth abideth still, His Kingdom is forever.”
The smell of incense swirled from the altar as twenty-five people chanted during a Zen Buddhist meditation Monday morning, August 7, 2000, at Pacific Lutheran University in Parkland, WA. Nearby in the Scandinavian Cultural Center, a dozen worshipers sipped from a small Japanese bowl during a Catholic Eucharist. Upstairs a smaller group, accompanied by a piano, sang morning prayers during a Protest service. This is blasphemy of the worst sort; for we have been told in 2 Corinthians 6:14‑17:
“BE YE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED TOGETHER WITH UNBELIEVERS: FOR WHAT FELLOWSHIP HATH RIGHTEOUSNESS WITH UNRIGHTEOUSNESS? AND WHAT COMMUNION HATH LIGHT WITH DARKNESS? And WHAT CONCORD HATH CHRIST WITH BELIAL? OR WHAT PART HATH HE THAT BELIEVETH WITH AN INFIDEL? And WHAT AGREEMENT HATH THE TEMPLE OF GOD WITH IDOLS? FOR YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD; AS GOD HATH SAID, I WILL DWELL IN THEM, AND WALK IN THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. Wherefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE SEPARATE, saith the Lord, and TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; AND I WILL RECEIVE YOU.”
We can see by this that we are not to do such things with the unbelievers or God will not receive us. These morning rituals were just the beginning of an international conference resembling a spiritual buffet, with speakers, workshops and discussion groups lasting late into the evening, the traditions and teachings of Buddhism, and Christianity were converging during an eight-day global gathering.
See how far the Judeo-Christian clergy has sunk. We have made the observation that they are traitors to Almighty God and the Lord Jesus Christ, they are false teachers, they are deceivers, they are perverts and use the word of God with deceit, and everything else that is unGodly and Blasphemous.
About three hundred professors, teachers, monks and ministers from twelve countries met at PLU for the sixth International Conference for Buddhist Christian studies held every four years. They traveled from as far away as Australia, Korea, Sri Lanka and Belgium to study the theme, “Buddhism, Christianity and Global Healing.”
“It’s really a dialogue,” said Sallie King, a professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. “You don’t know if you’re going to find a common ground or disagreement. You don’t know where you’re going to end up at the beginning of it.”
Irene Poon of Toronto who was raised a Christian and is now training to be a Buddhist teacher, the morning meditation was a way to “open my mind.”
Hosea told us in Hosea 4:6‑13:
“MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE: BECAUSE THOU HAST REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I WILL ALSO REJECT THEE, THAT THOU SHALT BE NO PRIEST TO ME...As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. They eat up the sin of my people, and THEY SET THEIR HEART ON THEIR INIQUITY. And there shall be, LIKE PEOPLE, LIKE PRIEST: and I WILL PUNISH THEM FOR THEIR WAYS, AND REWARD THEM THEIR DOINGS. For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD. WHOREDOM AND WINE AND NEW WINE TAKE AWAY THE HEART. My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for THE SPIRIT OF WHOREDOMS HATH CAUSED THEM TO ERR, AND THEY HAVE GONE A WHORING FROM UNDER THEIR GOD. THEY SACRIFICE UPON THE TOPS OF THE MOUNTAINS, AND BURN INCENSE UPON THE HILLS, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery.”
No Common Ground
Christianity’s only authoritive textbook is the Holy Bible. How then can a professing Christian fail to heed the following text? As we have stated before Paul remonstrates in 2 Corinthians 6:14‑15:
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?”
No dialogue between Christians and Buddhists or any other pagan religion can ever reconcile the teachings of Christ with the pantheistic God-denying doctrines of Buddha.
Certainly no common ground can be found in the gospel of Redemption and Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as taught by Christ, vis-a-vis, the Buddhist doctrine, Nirvana, a euphoric experience through transcendental meditation.
The New Age Prophets
In the lexicon of the New Age prophets, God is an impersonal force or energy; not the Lord God of the Scriptures, the Creator of heaven and earth and all things therein, including mankind.
Devotees of the New Age spirituality have unwittingly succumbed to the specious doctrine that God is the transcendental reality of which the material universe and man are only manifestations and tends to identify God and man as one. Having ascended the slippery slopes of Buddhism’s pantheistic Nirvana, it becomes an easy path to reach the Hindu Yoga; a belief in reincarnation, chanting to deities and communicating with the dead on the way up to one’s rightful place in the heavens.
The dead do not know anything until the resurrection (Job 14:12; 17:13-16; 19:25-27; Psalm 6:5; 17:15; 49:8-20; 88:10; 115:17; 141:7; 146:4; Ecclesiastes 9:5-10; Isaiah 9:19-20; Daniel 12:17; Hosea 13:14; John 3:13; Acts 2:34; 1 Corinthians 15:55; Hebrews 11:13)
According to Gopi Krishna, a world renowned Hindu mystic, Kundalini Yoga is the force which will bring about the evolution of a new superspecie.
In his book, Kundalini For the New Age, (Gopi Krishna, edited by Gene Keiffer, Kundalini For the New Age, Bantam Books, p. 222), he states, “Kundalini is the divine power both in the individual and collective sense.”
“It is the controller of evolution that is raising mankind from a speck of protoplasm, and slowly molding him into a man-god amid all the uproar and unrest that characterizes our age to endow him with inner possessions and crown him with a glory that is beyond our loftiest dreams.”
Sri Chinmoy, another eastern guru, moved to New York to spiritualize the West. Since 1970 he has conducted the meditations twice weekly at the United Nations. In Chinmoy’s own words, he has introduced the practice “Meditations into the realm of mediation.”
Three former Secretary Generals, U Thant, Kurt Waldheim and Javier Perez DeCuellar, have all lauded his work: U Thant, for installing moral and spiritual values; Waldheim, for his prayers of peace, “I know what you are doing for us, I can feel it;” DeCuellar, for “truths and ideals which unite all mankind.”
In his book, Inner and Out Peace, Sri Chinmoy emphasizes the importance of transcendental meditation as an evolutionary catalyst in man’s quest for godhood. “Meditation means the evolution is transforming and perfection. Sri Krishna meditated. He became God, the Love Divine. The Christ meditated. He became God the Commission Divine. Now, god wants you to become God, the Life Divine.” (Sri Shimnoy, Inner and Outer Peace, Peace Publishing, p. 117)
The New Age spirituality of the Eastern mystics is shown to be the very antithesis of Christianity. But leave it to the Western mind to use their Mysticism to open up a “Pandora’s Bod” of evil doctrines that surely must be the personification of the spirit of antichrist.
According to F. Astor Barnwell, a teacher and advisor with the treasury and Economics Ministry of the government of Ontario in Canada, in his book called The Meaning of Christ For Our Age (F. Astor Barnwell, The Meaning of Christ For Our Age, Llewellyn Publishers, back cover), “the real meaning of Christ for this age is that the second coming of Jesus Christ to this earth is not a literal event which will occur in the future.”
“What the bible is really talking about,” he explains, is that “the second coming is upon us now.” The second coming, he proposes, is actually a spiritual awakening which can be activated by the practice of Kundalini Yoga, which allows mankind to realize the dormant God nature within. “At no time in history has the need been greater,” he repeats over and over again. On the back cover of his book, he concludes: “We stand at the threshold of a New Age. Our destiny demands that we survive an advance to a higher consciousness.”
Where Are The Lord’s watchmen?
Secular Humanism and the apostate modern-day church of the Ladodiceans have left many credulous souls bereft of defenses under the charisma of the New Age prophets. Yet many among the faithful who proclaim the Gospel (Good News) of the Kingdom of God are scarcely aware of the inroads being made by the New Age Evangelists. Even as His witnesses, many are failing to heed the Lord’s Command:
“Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.” (Ezekiel 3:17)
Our Watchmen have been effectively silenced by the Jewish owned media; for they own all or control all of the publishing houses, newspapers, magazines, television, movies and etc., so their words of warning are being silenced. For most of God’s watchmen do not have the finances to privately publish their writings and warnings; and those Christians or supposed to be Christians will not finance them because there is not much money in telling the truth and warning people of something they do not want knowledge of . As our people do not want to know the truth and as Hosea 4:6 state God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT KNOWLEDGE AND ACTUALLY REJECT IT!
For the past 40 years of more, news media reports of the New Age religious phenomenon should serve as alert signals warning of the deepening apostasy throughout Western Christendom. Reports such as the following reveal the impact of the New Age Evangelists:
The Los Angeles “Whole Life Festival” held in October, 1987, featured over two hundred speakers; all committed to making this generation aware of therapies or techniques which supposedly elevate consciousness.
Paul Andrews, chairman and coordinator for this conference, in an interview which was done for the film documentary called “The Evolution Conspiracy,” made the following comments regarding his perspective of where he believed man was headed in the future:
“I think man is evolving to higher state of awareness, higher vibration, I believe that the New Age movement is heading into the main stream of American consciousness. And I think that it is going to get there by exposure in the mass media, the ideas, the concepts, the principles, the psychology, the spirituality, the inner directed goal-oriented drive and the people have to capture and be a part of the higher self.”
Paul Andrews defined what the term “Superconsciousness,’ often labeled “Christ consciousness,” means to those who believe that mankind is on the way to godhood.
“I believe that everyone has a Christ consciousness within themselves, and all they need to do is go inside and realize that and bring it forward, and be that Christ consciousness.” (Paul Andrews transcript of interview for film documentary “The Evolution Conspiracy,” October, 1987)
Coming forth out of darkness, those who have awakened to the seductive call, believe they are on the path to divinity. The New Age Evangelists assert that, because our eyes are closed, we are unable to see ourselves as gods. We are led to proclaim our divinity as an affirmation that we recognize our own godhood.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:11 we are told:
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie”
At a seminar held at the New York Hilton where twelve hundred paid $300 to attend, Time Magazine, December 7, 1987, reported that legendary Hollywood actress Shirley Maclaine challenged her attentive followers by saying:
“If you don’t see me as God, it’s because you don’t see yourself as God.”
If this sounds surreal and yet strangely familiar, it is because we are hearing a 20th Century version of the oldest lie in history. Red flag alarm signals should send all followers of God’s Word back to the Bible, first to Genesis. Here we find recorded history’s oldest lie as it was first told to Eve in the garden of Eden by “the father of lies:” (“a liar and the father of lies” John 8:44)
“Your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as gods.” (Genesis 3:5)
The Apostle John raises the rhetorical question in 1 John 2:22:
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”
In 2 John 7-11 we are told again:
“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist...Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the son.
“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
Western New Age prophets and their followers who are exploiting the spirituality of the Eastern mystics now face the same indictment that the Lord brought against the Pharisees in His day:
“Whosoever shall confess (acknowledge) me before men, him shall the son of man also confess before the angels of God; But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.” (Luke 12:8-9)
The most evident signs of the apostasy are revealed in the “more sure word of prophecy.” (2 Peter 1:19) Our Lord who was the greatest of the prophets forewarned that “for the elect’s sake,” these days shall be shortened:
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24:24)
Today “the very elect” are none other than the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Scandinavian, Celtic, Nordic, Slavic and kindred peoples and nations of Western Christendom. They are the lineal descendants of the Lord’s called out Covenant people: The Children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whose name was changed to Israel, meaning “a prince, or ruler, with God.” (Genesis 32:28)
The bond of Israel’s relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is implicit in His declaration:
“I AM NOT SENT BUT UNTO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL.” (Matthew 15:24)
The gurus of Eastern mysticism are not accountable for the deepening apostasy in Western Christendom. The heathen were not given “the Lord’s testimony established in Jacob nor the law in Israel which was commanded to our fathers.” (Psalm 78:1-5)
But we are without excuse. (Romans 1:20)
We are seeing “the falling away first” that Paul forewarned wou7ld precede the coming of the day of Christ. (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
“Watch therefore,” Our Lord reiterates again and again, “for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come...Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” (Matthew 24:42, 44)
