The Great Day of God Almighty

With the opening of the Twentieth Century, the world at large was experiencing, comparatively speaking, an era of tranquility and peace. Men and nations had arrived at the conclusion that devastating wars, as known in the past, would never again afflict mankind. The world, so it was being said, was too far advanced in civilization to resort to brute force in solving international problems. It was argued that the time had arrived when all disagreement would be resolved around the council table or through the decisions of an international court.

But little did they suspect the antics of the Jew from behind the scenes advocating thieving, dishonesty, murder and wars so they could reap billions in profits from lending both sides money; would lead to wars more horrible than any at any time in the past. With blood shed thousands of times that of the old ancient days when only 80,000 were killed in a day to a day when hundreds of thousands and possibly millions at some future time.

                        Advance of Materialism

Meanwhile, instead of being grateful to God for the blessings of peace, the civilized world was engaged in a phenomenal advancement in materialism (lead by the Jew, and their proselytes of course from behind the scenes). At the same time a corresponding pace was being maintained by a spiritual decadency as the tenets of higher criticism were embraced and the doctrines of modernism began to flourish throughout Anglo-Saxon, Germanic Israel lands. The inevitable result was the deepening shadow of a great apostasy overspreading all Christendom.

                                 Epochs of War

It was only later, after the terrible events it became possible to appreciate fully the accuracy of the information presented in the secret report of Count Lamsdorf, former Russian Foreign Minister, to Emperor Nicholas II, dated January 3, 1906, on the international aspect of the first revolutionary outbreak in Russian in 1905.

Some of the passages in this report are so striking that we feel it necessary to quote them in extenso:

"The events which took place in Russian during 1905, and which assumed especially acute forms at the beginning of October last, when after a series of strikes, they brought about an armed revolt in Moscow, and many other towns and localities of the Empire, plainly indicate that the Russian revolutionary movement, apart from its deeper, internal, social‑economic and political causes, the circumstances that the Russian revolutionaries are in possession of great quantities of arms which are imported from abroad, and of very considerable financial means, because there can be no doubt that the leaders of the revolution have already spent on our anti‑ government movement, the organization of all sorts of strikes included, large amounts of money.

“Since, however, it must be acknowledged that such support given to the revolutionary movement by sending arms ad money from abroad can hardly be ascribed to foreign governments (with very special exceptions, as, for instance, that of Sweden supporting the revolutionary movement in Finland, and of Austria which helped the Poles) one is bound to come to the conclusion that there are foreign capitalists' organizations which are interested in supporting our revolutionary movement.

“With this conclusion the fact must be confronted that the Russian revolutionary movement has the outspoken character of a movement of the heterogeneous nationalities of Russia which one after another, Armenians and Georgians, Letts and Esths, Finns, Poles and others, arose against the Imperial Government... If we add to the above that, as has been proved beyond any doubt, a very considerable part among these heterogeneous nationalities is played by Jews, who, individually, as ringleaders in the other organizations, as well as through their own (the Jewish Bund in the Western Provinces), have always come forward as the most bellicose element of the revolution, we may feel entitled to assume that the above‑mentioned foreign support of the Russian revolutionary movement comes from Jewish capitalist circles.

“In this respect one must not ignore the following concurrences of facts which lead to further conclusions, namely, that the revolutionary movement is not only supported but also to a certain degree directed from abroad. One hand, the strike broke out with special violence and spread all over Russia not before and not after October, that is, just at the time when our government tried to realize a considerable foreign loan without the participation of the Rothschilds and just in time for preventing the carrying out of this financial operation; the panic provoked among the buyers and holders of Russian loans could not fail to give additional advantages to the Jewish bankers and capitalists who openly and knowingly speculated upon the fall of the Russian rates... Moreover, certain very significant facts, which were also mentioned in the press, quite confirm the obvious connection of the Russian Revolutionary movement with the foreign Jewish organizations.

“Thus, for instance the above‑mentioned importation of arms, which according to our agents' information was carried on from the European Continent through England, can be duly appreciated if we take into consideration that already in June, 1905, a special Anglo‑Jewish committee of capitalists was openly established in England for the purpose of collecting money for arming fighting groups of Russian Jews, and that the well‑known anti‑ Russian publicist, Lucien Wolf, was the leading member of this committee. On the other hand, in view of the fact that the sad consequences of the revolutionary propaganda affected the Jews themselves,

“Another committee of Jewish capitalists was formed in England, under the leadership of Lord Rothschild, which collected considerable amounts of contributions in England, France and Germany for the officially alleged purpose of helping Russian Jews who suffered from pogroms. And lastly, the Jews in America, without thinking it necessary formally to distinguish between the two purposes, collect money for helping the pogrom suffers and for arming the Jewish youth." (The full text of this report was published in the American Hebrew and Jewish Messenger in its issue of July 13, 1918)

Under such conditions, materially and spiritually, the summer of 1914 was approached. Then suddenly, almost without warning, World War I became an actuality. It was called the Great War and it inaugurated an epoch of conflict that was to continue throughout the ensuing decades. Peace was literally taken from the earth.

Almost 100 years have passed since Germany sent her armed forces marching through Belgium, when she moved against France. From that day to this, the world has not know the blessings of peace. World War II followed twenty-five years later and, after another 50 years the world appears to be headed for what has already been alluded to as World War III.

The tendency, however, to view each war as a conflict in itself, completely independent of the others, is erroneous. Actually the designations given the conflicts following the “Great War” have been more correct than generally realized. It has indeed been a continuing great, worldwide war, divided into Phase I, Phase II and, in the offing, Phase III. Interestingly enough, the Korean conflict was never officially called a war. It was a “police action” under the aegis of the United Nations. Again, the engagement with North Vietnam was defined in official circles in our government, not as a war, but as “a matter of collective defense” against armed aggression.

There has been, nevertheless, an overall pattern of global contest being waged from the inception of World War I in 1914, which will climax in the final phase of battle, involving the entire world as the forces of evil make their last, desperate move to seize world control. Such a goal stimulated the Kaiser in his campaign in 1914 and impelled Hitler to strike in 1939. The same spirit of world domination actuates the Jews as they pursue their plans to exert supreme control over all the nations of the earth.

                       Three Satanic Ideologies

Before the end of World War I, Communism (former chief rabbi of the United States, Stephen F. Wise stated: “Some call it Communism; I call it Judaism”) came to power in Soviet Russia and the throne of the czars was overthrown. Following the close of World War I, Fascism was established in Italy and Nazism began to come to power in Germany. Thus, the first world war, and its aftermath, brought out into the open the forces which were to be in opposition to God and His Kingdom people. In the Book of Revelation they are designated as three unclean spirits:

Revelation 16:13‑14

13: And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14: For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

While World War I revealed the identity of the enemies of God and His Kingdom, it remained for World War II to destroy the power of two of the evil ideologies: Fascism and Nazism. One remains; World Communism, constituting the arch-contender for world dominion in the final phase of conflict.

                             The Judgment Set

When, by Divine edict, God passed judgment upon His people Israel for their sins, and assigned Seven Times (2520 years) of chastisement to them. He also allotted that some number of years as the period during which He would permit the Gentiles to exercise dominion upon the earth. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was the first of the Gentile emperors to rule under this interim charter to govern, for his was the first of the Babylonian Succession of Empires. Thereafter God could not move against Gentile misrule until the time He had given to the Gentiles had expired.

However, it would appear that the Time of the Gentiles began to expire with the beginning of World War I. Following that, God was free to act in reprisal against the despotic nations and this transfer of hegemony was marked by the progressive overthrow of governments as the result of World War I. The Prophet Daniel was given a spectacular vision of this great epoch of change:

“I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.” (Daniel 7:9-10)

Following this, Daniel beheld another equally marvelous sight:

“I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” (Daniel 7:13-14)

A third prophetic vision was given to Daniel and when he had been informed about all that was involved in its fulfillment, he knew he had been told what “the end of the matter” would be. The prophet stated:

“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.” (Daniel 7:21-22)

                          The Aggressor’s Goal

When it is realized that, from the day Kaiser William ordered his troops to invade Belgium in August 1914, the goal of the aggressor has been world domination, it enlarges the scope of our understanding of the meaning of the time in which we are living. Devil-inspired forces are stirring up the nations to move in aggression against the modern Israel peoples, and foment internal disruption of every sort within their lands, in order to prevent the fulfillment of the promise given through the Prophet Daniel:

“And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.” (Daniel 7:27)

The last 75 years have witnessed the literal fulfillment of the prophecy of the Psalmist:

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” (Psalm 2:2-3)

Daniel foresaw the Ancient of Days sitting upon His throne, before whom thousands upon thousands ministered and, as he watched, he learned how the enemies of God were dealt with in order to make ready for the restoration of His Kingdom upon the earth. No wonder the Psalmist could exclaim:

“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.” (Psalm 2:4-5)

                   Judgment Through the Sword

There are a great many statements by the prophets which warn of the direful effects upon those who learn by experience what is meant by the wrath, or fury, of God. The Prophet Jeremiah declared:

“For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it. And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.” (Jeremiah 25:15-16)

When one considers the inability of the nations to reach any kind of agreement in regard to peace, or disarmament, while feverishly preparing fearful weapons of destruction, it is not difficult to perceive that they are, figuratively speaking staggering about in drunken stupor of madness. This is the direct result of their departure from the practice of righteousness in government, as the Prophet Isaiah points out:

“But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” (Isaiah 57:20-21)

This indictment falls with equal force upon the nations of God’s own people, for they have take on wicked ways for which they are condemned. The Lord reiterated through Jeremiah His unrelenting command:

“Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.” (Jeremiah 25:27-28)

There are men at the head of nations today who repudiate God and seek to subscribe to self-determination for themselves, which is the theory that one may act by himself, without external compulsion. The pronouncement of the Lord through Jeremiah, however, emphatically states that no nation that ignores the Lord will escape His wrath, not even His own people:

“For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye (God’s Israel people) be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Jeremiah 25:29)

                            Winepress of Wrath

When the sword of war is sent by the Lord to cut down evil, ALL NATIONS are to endure its throes of judgment. The Lord commanded Jeremiah:

“Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.” (Jeremiah 25:30)

The voice of the Lord has been uttered; the shout has been heard. With the close of the Times of the Gentiles (2520 years after the rise of Nebuchadnezzar to power), the nations began to drink of the cup of trembling in 1914. (Zechariah 12:2) The Divine command went out for the sword to descend upon the inhabitants of the earth and peace passed away.

In the Great Pyramid one of the names designating the symbolical significance of the King’s Chamber is the “Hall of the Judgment of the Nations.” This chamber was entered on September 16, 1936 and it was stated in The Great Pyramid of Gizeh, Destiny for May 1938, pp. 105-110:

“The Great Pyramid indicates it (the Hall of the Judgment of the Nations) to be a period of terrible world suspense as titanic forces meet in moral combat in this final period of judgment.”

The ultimate end will be the treading of the wine press of Divine wrath and this is associated with the final, sanguinary phase of battle, which the inhabitants of the word have unwittingly designated as World War III, the third phase of the continuing conflict.

                       Noise, Evil and Whirlwind

Let us examine the unique manner in which the Prophet Jeremiah summarizes the three phases of the epoch of conflict which has overspread all nations. The whole world is now involved in a desperate struggle for survival. Jeremiah prophesied:

“A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword saith the Lord. Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.” (Jeremiah 25:31-33)

When peace was take from the earth, the sword did in deed come upon the inhabitants of the world. FIRST: A great noise; that is, an uproar, was hard throughout the earth as the result of the clash of arms in World War I.

SECOND: Evil began to spread from nation to nation as the ideologies of Fascism, Nazism, Zionism, and Communism infiltrate many lands. World War II erupted and, following that, strife and violence have engulfed the entire world. The rendering in the Smith and Goodspeed translation is: “Trouble is spreading from nation to nation.”

The phrasing of the prophecy is significant. The accelerating momentum of evil continuing to spread “from nation to nation” will eventually result in the third phase of global conflict; “a great whirlwind” that will climax in terrible slaughter. Does the term “whirlwind” describe the cyclonic effect of atomic war which would indeed scatter the slain from one end of the earth to the other?

                      Great Day of God Almighty

Have we been limiting the bounds of the Great Day of God almighty by failing to properly analyze the scope of the statement in Revelation 16:14? John enlarged upon what he beheld:

“For they are the spirits of devils (Jews, Fascism, Nazism, Zionism, Communism), working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth (from nation to nation) and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”

The satanic ideologies of Fascism, Nazism, Zionism and Communism were to go forth first to the “kings of the earth.” This is the apocalyptic earth (Rome and the Continental Empires up to the first world war) and refers to the activities of all three “evil spirits” which resulted in World War II and brought about the end of Gentile rule. The political and military might of the Babylonian Succession of Empire come to an end with the defeat and unconditional surrender of Germany.

“And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel.” (Ezekiel 38:18-19)

The second stage of fulfillment followed immediately after the close of World War II. Communism and Zionism was exposed as the ultimate contender for world domination and Soviet Russia has succeeded in adding to the gathering of the kings of the earth, those “OF THE WHOLE WORLD,” as the heathen are aroused and backward peoples and colored races are recruited to join together under the sign of the Star of David, “drilled and disciplined by yourself (Zionism, Communism)” (Ezekiel 38:7, Ferrar Fenton Translation) to feverishly prepare for the coming Great Battle.

“Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.” (Zechariah 14:3)

The Prophet Joel outlines the same order of development for global conflict. Through him a proclamation is issued to the Gentiles; that is, the kings of the earth:

“Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.” (Joel 3:9-10)

The prophet addresses a message to the heathen:

“Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about...Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.” (Joel 3:11-12)

                      Judgments of the Nations

Within the overall period of the Great Day of God Almighty, God is dealing in judgment with the nations according to His controversy with them. (Jeremiah 25:31) The whole controversy of Zion will be settled during this age of conflict and the Year of Vengeance also falls within this period.

At the same time the Lord is contending with His own people because He has a controversy with them. His quarrel with them is due to their unfaithfulness to Him. To this sin the present generation has added the iniquitous behavior induced by its refection of its own heritage as the people of God who were to remain separated from other races and set an example of righteousness which would attract others to seek the Lord. It is true that, generally speaking, the people of modern Israel are not aware of their identity as God’s servant race, called to perform a specific task:

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there is no God formed, neither shall there be after me.” (Isaiah 43:10)

Nevertheless, the ignorance of the people does not excuse them for despising their heritage. The Lord refers to His dispute with them through the Prophet Micah:

“Hear ye, O mountains (nations), the Lord’s controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the Lord hath a controversy with his people and he will plead with Israel.” (Micah 6:2)

Through the Prophet Hosea, the Lord delineates, point by point, why He is at odds with His people:

“Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery (race mixing), they break out, and blood toucheth blood.” (Hosea 4:1-2)

The indictment continues:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou has rejected knowledge, I WILL ALSO REJECT THEE, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God. I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.” (Hosea 4:6-7)

God’s dispute with His people is deep-seated and intense covering many generations of rebellion against His will. The glory of Israel, acting as God’s battle-axe and weapons of war to put down aggression (Jeremiah 51:20), has indeed been turned into shame, for the modern nations if Israel are no longer able to win when they engage in contests with their enemies and their ability to retain the respect of other peoples has sunk to a very low ebb.

                   Absence of Divine Protection

Meanwhile, because of the seeming absence of Divine protection of God’s people, their enemies have become confident of victory and they are following the course prophetically envisioned by the Psalmist:

“For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against the hidden ones. They have said, Come, let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with on consent: they are confederate against thee.” (Psalm 83:2-5)

The foes of God’s Kingdom and His people are unaware that their moves against His people are being used of the Lord to compel His people to heed His call and return to Him in repentance and pray the prayer so succinctly expressed by the Prophet Joel:

“Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” (Joel 2:17)

God’s Battle-Axe and Weapons of War

It is pointed out in a Study in Daniel, by Howard B. Rand that the over all period assigned to the Israel nations to act as God’s battle-axe and weapons of war terminated in 1945 A.D. Thereafter, “the prerogative to wage war for righteousness’ sake would pass into the hands of God Himself.”

Truly we have been unable to over come our foes since the close of World War II. Our power is scattered (Daniel 12:7); our armies are trodden down (Daniel 8:13). Now, the rise of lawless mobs (Joel 3:14), the “time of trouble” (Daniel 12:1), which the Prophet Daniel stated would exceed in violence the great wickedness of the antediluvian civilization has caused a total breakdown in law and order.

Mob activity will eventually develop into its military phase; that is, guerrilla warfare. Already this type of violence has succeeded in overthrowing rule without justice and the enslavement of people without mercy. The history of Castro’s rise to power in Cuba and the Jews rise to power in the Middle east supplies two excellent examples.

They and their proselytes have predicted that “guerrilla forces all over the world will eventually achieve victory.” But of course they are now calling it terrorism and not guerrilla warfare to keep from awakening the people to what they are doing. The WTC is just such an act of guerrilla warfare.

They are unaware that utter defeat, not victory, will be the ultimate climax of this military phase of mob action, for we are now entering upon the Plain of the Judgment where Joel prophesies the doom o the lawless is to be sealed.

The picayunish quality of the governmental leadership in the United States since 1945 has become glaringly obvious, for the present rise in mobocracy is tacitly condoned and even encouraged by men in high office who are fearful of political consequences if they resist the undercover Jewish cliques, pressure groups and power combines. Constitutional principles are consequently flouted; racial barriers (especially against the White Race) are pulled aside for political reasons; the purveyors of subversion are continually catered to.

It was of such a time as this that the Lord was speaking when He inspired Moses to declare:

“The Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone.” (Deuteronomy 32:36)

                         Under Divine Pressure

When, under Divine pressure, God’s people finally come to a realization of what they must do, the result is stated:

“Then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people.” (Joel 2:18)

The Heritage of the Lord; that is, His people, are not to be despised by the raging heathen. In the 43rd chapter of Isaiah it is made clear that the Lord will have mercy upon His people for the sake of the honor of His own Name.

“In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.” (Zechariah 12:8)

There is to be an open demonstration of His power and might and all peoples are to be made aware of it and of its purpose.

First He issues a command to His people:

“Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.” (Isaiah 43:8)

Then He throw down the challenge:

“Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses.” (Isaiah 43:9)

Before the Great Day of God Almighty has terminated, the Lord will have accomplished three things in the sight of all the inhabitants of the earth:

1). The questions of rulership and dominion will be settled for all time;

2). The true identity and destiny of His people will be universally known;

3). The power and reign of evil will be ended. The Lord reminds His people through Isaiah:

“I, even I, am the Lord; and besides me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God. Yea, before the day was, I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let (hinder) it?” (Isaiah 43:11-13)

                        God Delivers His People

Yahweh states through the Prophet Zechariah that He Himself will set the stage for the climatic display of His power, for He says,

“I will gather all nations against Jerusalem (The United States of America) to battle.” (Zechariah 14:2)

Following this the awesome prophecy is given:

“Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.” (Zechariah 14:3)

This statement harks back to the many times God delivered His people from their foes and when they were helpless against the onslaughts of their enemies. When He moved against Pharaoh, the Egyptian army pursuing Israel was destroyed in the Red Sea.

Again, when He fought in behalf of His people at the time the Assyrians defied Him, the Angel of the Lord visited the camp of their armed men one night and the next morning 185,000 Assyrians were found dead. God has accused Sennacherib, King of Assyria:

“Who hast thou reproached and blasphemed? And against whom thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? Even against the Holy One of Israel.” (2 Kings 19:22)

This was extreme arrogance and each time it has been repeated, the outcome has been the same. In a day to come, those who are found striving against the Lord God Almighty will be brought to understand the meaning of Jeremiah’s words:

“The Lord hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation.’ (Jeremiah 50:25)

This will happen again in the near future against the Jews and the armies that they will bring forth against His Israel people.

                        Battle of That Great Day

The concluding verses of the 25th chapter of Jeremiah are very explicit about the eventual results of the steadily intensifying anger of the Lord which will be universally manifested in the Battle of That Great Day. The leaders of the people; called “shepherds” and “principal of the flock;” are the main object of Divine wrath. The “fierceness of the oppressor” will only be matched by the “fierce anger of the Lord” in the day of reckoning.

“The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.” (Jeremiah 30:24)

Again Yahweh says through Jeremiah:

“My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.” (Jeremiah 51:45)

Then Zephaniah tells us:

“Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD's anger come upon you.” (Zephaniah 2:2)

Through the Psalmist we are told that God will decide who will sit as king upon His Holy Hill of Zion. The decree has been issued by God, favoring His own Son, to whom He will give the heathen for an inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for His possession. Then the royal prerogative is expressed in these words:

“Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.” (Psalm 2:9)

Jeremiah had referred to their fall as “like a pleasant vessel” (Jeremiah 25:34) and the explanation is given:

“As a fall will break and utterly ruin a precious vessel of crystal or agate, so your overthrow will be to you irreparable ruin.” (Clarke’s Commentary, p. 320)

John beheld the carrying out of the Psalmist’s prophecy when He who will be King of kings and Lord of lords rides forth triumphantly to make war in the cause of righteousness:

“Out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword (The Word of God), that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.” (Revelation 19:15)

The Psalmist offers solemn advice:

“Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.” (Psalm 2:10-12)

                          End of Global Conflict

When the scope and duration of the global conflict that has been drenching the world with blood for more than 100 years are properly evaluated, and the nature of the prize for which the forces of evil are contending is understood, the magnitude of the stakes involved in the events which have been transpiring during this Great Day of God Almighty will be comprehended. The Prophet Ezekiel recounts in detail the outcome of the final Great Battle, when the hordes of Gog move to implement their program for world domination, persisting in their grasp for world power, even to the point of attacking the throne of God. The Lord has decreed:

“And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:21-23)

It is being inferred here that the nations of the world that survive the coming day of great slaughter will reach the same conclusion drawn by King Nebuchadnezzar after God had dealt with him in judgment. The Babylonian king issued a proclamation:

“I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?” (Daniel 4:34-35)

Trough Ezekiel the Lord asks this pronouncement concerning what is to follow after the Battle of That Great Day of God Almighty has been fought:

“I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.” (Ezekiel 39:21)

The second result will be of even greater significance:

“So the house of Israel hall know that I am the Lord their God from that day forward.” (Ezekiel 39:22)

In anticipation of this final victory over all His foes and the awakening of the House of Israel to their foreordained responsibility as the people of His Kingdom, the Lord, through Ezekiel (39:8), exclaims:

“Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God; this the day whereof I have spoken.”
