“We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
GIANTS OF THE DARKNESS: Information is given in this article which should be of vital concern to those who desire to rightly appraise present world conditions as the earth becomes increasingly filled with violence and blood. The inhuman acts of men and women toward fellow human beings must be inspired from a source other than human.
The Bible definitely declares this to be so and gives important information which points to the presence among us of evil personalities who are extremely active in the affairs of men and nations today.
“The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear.” (Psalm 58:3-4)
Translation difficulties have hidden the true facts from the average Christian, and our spiritual leaders in the churches and theological seminaries, whose task is to instruct us in all truth, have been negligent in their duty in this respect. Furthermore, they have belittled any reference to this phase of supernatural manifestation and power.
By their refusal to teach what the Bible states is so, they are responsible for many becoming prey to diabolical and demonic forces whose objective is not only the destruction of righteousness but the ultimate enslavement of mankind. Christ and His disciples recognized the existence of these evil personalities and to this fact the prophets have also testified.
In this article will be found Scriptural evidence that they exist and some of the marks by which their works and their presence may be detected. Foreknowledge is forearmament and it will be well for those who would escape the ever-increasing influence and suggestions of these malignant ones to know and understand what the Bible teaches concerning them.
Darkness has been used symbolically of degradation and evil, but that there is an actual place of darkness where evil spirits are compelled to reside, chained there through fear of or inability to endure light, is less understood. Interesting information can be gleaned from a study of the Scriptures concerning this “nether world” or place of darkness, the abode of evil. This knowledge enables one to understand why the Bible admonishes us to be alert and constantly on guard.
OTHER LORDS: Isaiah the Prophet refers to a time when men had to serve lords who had since died, against whom God had to move in order to break the power they exercised over men:
“Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us. O Lord our God, OTHER LORDS BESIDE THEE HAVE HAD DOMINION OVER US: but thee only will we make mention of thy name. They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.” (Isaiah 26:12-14; also see 2 Samuel 7:10; 1 Chronicles 17:9; Jeremiah 23:3-8; 50:17; Isaiah 14:1; Ezekiel 34:13; 37:21; 39:28)
SHADES OR FEARFUL ONES: Who were these lords? The fact that there is to be no resurrection for them now that they are dead indicates that they are not dead “men,” for all men shall rise again, at least for the judgment.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)
The statement “they are deceased” is worthy of close study. Young’s Analytical Concordance states that the Hebrew word here translated “deceased” is “Rephaim,” meaning shads, fearful ones.
The dictionary defines shade as a phantom, spirit or ghost, stating that “the shades” are the inhabitants of the nether world, or hades, the abode of disembodied spirits. The “Rephaim” are therefore shades, phantoms, spirits or ghosts; that is, fearful ones. What, then, is the connection between the Rephaim (the Jews),and the lords of whom Isaiah is speaking?
NEPHILIM OR GIANTS: Let us turn back to the days before the Deluge and examine the account of the sons of God who saw that the daughters of men were fair and chose any whom they wanted to be their wives. The record states:
“There were giants (Nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” (Genesis 6:4)
Reconstructing the situation, we find that the sons of God, the fallen angels (2 Peter 2:4-5), were the giants, intellectually as well as physically, who became lords over mankind. Finally, these sons of God, seeing the beauty of the daughters of men, began to cohabit with them with the result that their offspring inherited the immortal spirits of their fathers and their giant stature while their physical bodies were but flesh and blood, inherited from their mothers.
Gigantic in size, with corresponding physical strength, and possessing the intellect and immortal spirits of their fathers, thee men became very powerful and established their tyrannical rulership over men. These were the lords the human race was compelled to serve. But the Rephaim (the Jews),had not yet come into existence.
THE REPHAIM: Because of the rule of those giants the earth became corrupt (because of Miscegenation) and was filled with violence, necessitating its destruction by the Flood so that the offspring of the fallen angels might be destroyed. This same catastrophe brought the authority of the fallen angels themselves to an end. Isaiah declares that those lords were destroyed and even the memory of them has perished.
A study of Scripture, however, along with information gleaned from ancient records, reveals the devilish and diabolical power exercised by the Nephilim (fallen angels), and now carried on by their disembodied offspring. These disembodied spirits of the offspring of the Nephilim are today the Rephaim (the Jews),confined in the abyss of darkness. Much of the information in the Scriptures pertaining to the Rephaim (the Jews),is hidden due to the fact that in translating from Hebrew into English the word “dead” is substituted for the name Rephaim (the Jews),where this name appears in the original manuscript.
Turning to Job 26:5 we read:
“Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.”
In a footnote in “The Companion Bible” is the following explanation of this passage:
“The Ellipsis must be supplied thus: ‘(The place where) the Rephaim (the Jews),stay (which is) beneath the waters, and the things that are therein.’ This place thus answers to the other place, Sheol, the grave, in the next verse.”
“Dead things” thus refers to the Rephaim, who are the disembodied spirits of the offspring of the fallen angels, whose bodies perished in the Deluge. But though Rephaim (the Jews),signifies a “dead thing,” it also refers to something eerie and fearful; that is, not associated with dead men.
Moffatt translates this verse in Job:
“Before him the primaeval giants writhe, under the ocean in their prison.” (Job 26:5)
The American Standard says:
“They that are deceased tremble Beneath the waters and the inhabitants thereof.” (ASV)
The New International Version says:
“The dead are in deep anguish, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.” (NIV)
Ferrrar Fenton renders this passage:
“The Raphaim, themselves, were destroyed. And rest themselves under seas.”
THE GREAT DEEP: When the Deluge overwhelmed the earth, the bodies of the offspring of the fallen angels perished, though their disembodied spirits lived on. When the waters of the flood receded, the place of their abode still remained under the sea and it became the place of their perpetual grave, where their spirits were chained in the darkness of the great deep. Perhaps, too, the fallen angels themselves, because of their sins, were chained in the same location where the spirits of their offspring found a grave, for Peter tells us God did not spare the angels that sinned, but cast them into chains of darkness. (2 Peter 2:4)
Here they are to remain until the judgment but, though they must remain in the abyss, evidently the spirits released from the destroyed bodies of their offspring are at liberty to ascend from this abyss at stated times.
If men of today were able to explore the floor of the oceans they would, no doubt, find in the great deep the remains of gigantic cities, the former habitations of the antediluvian giants. (Some very large cities have been discovered off the coasts of Florida in the last few years or so) These ruined cities are the eerie abode of the Rephaim; the disembodied spirits of those fearful one. There in the darkness of the great deep, too, it may well be that their fathers are chained, awaiting the time of their judgment.
PAUL’S AND PETER’S ADVICE: But what have we to do with these spirits and how do they affect us today? Our question should be to inquire if it can be possible that, though the fallen angels are chained in the abyss, the spirits of their offspring are able at times to go forth and do their bidding. Paul counsels;
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand it, the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:1-13)
These disembodied spirits, chained in darkness, are unable to bear the light, but when the full shadow of the sun engulfs the earth at the midnight hour they apparently can ascend from the abyss and do come forth for a short time each night. Peter warns:
“BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT; BECAUSE YOUR ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, AS A ROARING LION, WALKETH ABOUT, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” (1 Peter 5:8-9)
The apostle stresses the danger of drunkenness, for under the influence of liquor men and women are susceptible to demon possession and certainly are in no position to be vigilant.
DEMON POSSESSION: What is the man objective of the evil spirits? It is to prevent coming judgment and in order to do this they are constantly endeavoring to frustrate the plans of God for the establishment of His Kingdom upon earth. But they must have a vehicle; a body, through which they can work. Therefore, they are continually seeking human beings whom they may possess and through whom they can carry on their subversive activities.
If they can secure the willing, or even the unwilling, consent of an individual to that possession, they seem to be temporarily released from the confinement of darkness. By securing the use of a body and mind, with the power of speech by which they are able to operate and exert an influence over those whom they wish to control, they and their fathers hope to frustrate the plans of God as the consummation of the age approaches. Human beings who are evil, or who unwittingly lend themselves to subversive activities, supporting programs in opposition tot he establishment of his Kingdom, are furthering the plans of these devils.
If the eyes of men could be opened so they could see, even for a moment, the fearful apparitions whose influence and directions they are following, fear and horror would seize them. From time to time men have caught glimpses of these denizens of the nether world and it has left them frightened and shaken. The man of God, occupying the front-line trenches in this sanguinary conflict, is fully aware of their existence, having learned by experience to respect their power.
But it is extremely difficult to get people to open their eyes, so they can see, and open their ears, so they can understand because of the false teachings in the pulpits of America today. Just as on many so-called Christian lists; THERE ARE MANY WHO ARE FEARFUL OF THE TRUTH AND THEY DO NOT WANT THE TRUTH TAUGHT AS THE SCRIPTURES TELL US ABOUT THESE PEOPLE:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
They would rather believe the lies put forth by their Ba’al Priest than hear the truth of the word as recorded in the Scriptures and the evidence before their very eyes; and is recorded in their newspapers daily.
So instead of seeking the truth, they will attack anyone who tries to present the truth to them; and of course there is always one of the sons of the Devil or one of their book licks the Judeo-Christian ministers and etc., on the list to divert our peoples attention away, screaming that they are not followers of Yeashua.
Of course they are lying and they know it but the deceived masses do not know it. Much the same as when Elijah met the Ba’al Priests and told the people of Israel, who were just watching the proceedings saying nothing. At the end when Elijah prevailed and the people actually saw he deception that these false priests, ministers and etc., were feeding them, they slaughtered them. This is what is going to happen when Yeashua comes back again to these false Judeo-Christian teachers.
PRESENCE OF THE REPHAIM: Due to translation difficulties the full significance of the activities of these evil spirits has been more or less concealed until men today have come to believe they are non-existent. In fact, one who expresses belief in their existence is apt to be called a simpleton by his fellow men. But that these evil, disembodied, spirits do exist and are active in every phase of human sinfulness is very clear and testified to in numerous passages of Scripture. They themselves are pleased that men refuse to recognize their existence for then men will not be on guard against their influence. Solomon declared:
“Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. But he (the one partaking of such secret evils) knoweth not that the dead (Rephaim) are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.” (Proverbs 9:17-18)
Where sin abounds these disembodied spirits are ever present as unseen guests in the midst of evil merrymakers. This fact accounts for the preponderance of sinful and degrading activities in the early hours of the morning; after midnight. This also explains why wicked men love darkness and are more courageous in their wanton acts of evil after the sun sets. Solomon, speaking of strange women who flatter with their lips, said:
“Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead (Rephaim). None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.” (Proverbs 2:17-19)
The moral degradation of the offspring of the fallen angels made the Deluge necessary and their disembodied spirits, craving evil but without bodies, are unable to fulfill their desires so they seek companionship with evil men and women. Did Paul have this thought in mind when he said:
“Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? Know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? For two, saith he, shall be one flesh.” (1 Corinthians 6:15-16)
Solomon further declared:
“The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead (Rephaim).” (Proverbs 21:16)
BOTTOMLESS PIT: Evil spirits were particularly active in our Lord’s day, trying to interfere with His ministry. An interesting incident occurred at that time, demonstrating the impossibility of those disembodied spirits to continue during the hours of light apart from human possession, for they seem to be without power to carry their plans to completion except through the medium of the human body.
When Jesus arrived in the country of the Gadarenes a man met Him who was possessed of devils. Jesus asked him:
“What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.” (Luke 8:30)
`Recognizing that Jesus was about to cast them out:
“They besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.” (Luke 8:31)
The Greek word here translated “deep” is “Abussos” and is the identical word translated “bottomless” and “bottomless pit” in Revelation, from which place evil ascends and into which the Devil and his angels are to be cast. (Revelation 9:1-2, 11; 11:7; 17:8; 20: 1, 3) It means a very deep place and Job informs us it is under the sea.
These demons besought the Lord to allow them to enter into some swine near by and He allowed them to do so with the result:
“Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were chocked.” (Luke 8:33)
Apart from human possession evil spirits apparently have no protection from the light, the exposure to which seems to cause them excruciating pain. The flesh of the swine gave them no such protection and the swine could not endure their presence so they plunged into the water and the evil spirits were precipitated into a mad scramble to reach the security of the darkness of the great deep.
ASCENDING FROM THE ABYSS: Unknown to natural man, these denizens of the Bottomless Pit are often the source of their inspiration as they plan acts of aggression and reach out for wealth and power. Even Christian men and women are susceptible to their influence when they walk in their own spirit and refuse to be led by the Spirit of Christ. The Bible presents a few examples of the power of that evil influence and its effect upon history. John in Revelation tells us of the opening of the Bottomless Pit, out of which came a force capable of causing much destruction. (Revelation 9:1-5)
This incident prophetically described the later activities of Mohammed:
“One day at the age of forty, he (Mohammed) was wandering among the rocks at the foot of Mount Hara. He entered the mouth of a cave and sat there musing. As he mused he was shaken by an unseen power. As he sat there, trembling and disturbed, suddenly a light flashed and the Angel Gabriel (actually not Gabriel but an impersonation by the Evil One) stood before him and in the name of god (Allah) commanded him to preach the true religion. Mohammed is reported to have run home and told his wife that he was possessed of a devil and had gone mad. She listened to the account of his experience and told him he was to be a prophet to his people. But Mohammed was tortured with the thought that the revelation he was receiving might be from the Evil One. John declares that Mohammed was inspired from the Bottomless Pit, so his apprehensions and fears were well founded.” (Study in Revelation, by Howard B. Rand, pp. 86-87)
TRY THE SPIRITS:
“From the great deep under the sea, from the eerie abode of disembodied spirits and the prison of the fallen angels, came the spirit that animated. Mohammed, resulting in drenching the earth with blood. From this same source has come the inspiration that animates false beliefs and all religious cults which are out of step with the facts taught in the Scriptures. Here also is the origin of much of the dissension so evident today among Christian peoples. John gives us a test in the following words which we may apply in every case: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets (teachers) are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God.” (1 John 4:1-3)
We are not to believe those who refuse to accept the fact that Jesus Christ is God, the Son. Further earmarks of false doctrine are furnished in the repetition of the original statement in the temptation of Eve when Satan said to her,
“Ye shall not surely die” and “Ye shall be as gods.” (Genesis 3:4-5)
DECEIVING MEN: Many occult movements today declare that death is not death; instead they paraphrase Satan’s statement in their doctrinal glorification of life in the “great beyond.”
Mohammed sends his devotees to a heaven of carnal delights, while others prepare imaginary heavens according to their particular conception of the future state. But Jesus Christ as God, the Son, is seldom, if ever, mentioned, and when He is, it is to place Him in an inferior position than that which He actually occupies. So the lie from Satan, the father of lies, is perpetuated by the seed (Genesis 3:15) of the serpent; these disembodied spirits from the abyss, as they continue to deceive men into believing they shall not die but will become as gods.
ORIGIN OF MODERNISM: The inhabitants of the great deep are especially active today. In the form of a beast ascending from the Bottomless Pit, John, in Revelation, describes their warfare against the Two Witnesses whom they succeed in overcoming and slaying.
The facts pertaining to these Two Witnesses are amply covered in “Study in Revelation.” It is sufficient here to point out that, as a result of this attack from the Bottomless Pit, Modernism came into being, propagating its false doctrines which have permeated the entire body of organized Christianity with the result that the faith of millions has been destroyed. Its source is the great deep, or abyss, where the Rephaim (the Jews),reside.
Its inspiration comes from the minds of the demons, or disembodied spirits, the denizens of the deep. The spirit and doctrines of the Rephaim (the Jews),have already become so well established in our theological seminaries and schools that they are being proclaimed as truth from most of the pulpits in our land. The man who has the audacity to oppose these evil doctrines of devils is considered a renegade, a nobody, or at least unlearned.
From the Erie abode of the disembodied spirits of the giants of darkness Modernism has come, with its Christ-denying and miracle-belittling teachings. These spirits of evil have succeeded beyond perhaps their own fondest hopes in inoculating and indoctrinating millions of Christians with their poison.
Playing upon the egotistical covetousness of many ministers of the Gospel to claims of super-scholarship, the Rephaim (the Jews),have found in them allies made to order, avid listeners to their whisperings of the superiority of intellectualism. From the darkness of the abyss came the withering blight of a great apostasy which has cast its malignant shadow over all Christendom. Surely the demons of the nether world must rejoice at the stupidity of their devotees who are proclaiming as true from their pulpits doctrines whose origin is from the depth of hell.
“Modernism, with its spiritual apostasy, has prepared the soil in the Israel lands in which the seed of Communism can readily grow.” (Documentary Studies, Vol. I, p. 209)
VEHICLES OF EXPRESSION: This is not all, for God declared He would put enmity between the “seed” of the serpent and the “seed” of the woman and warfare between the two has raged throughout the ages. Through fallen angels Satan had sought to corrupt the seed of the woman, necessitating the destruction of the world.
Through the disembodied spirits of his offspring he is seeking to possess man that he may control and dominate his spirit. In the conflict man has been handicapped because he is mortal and subject to death, but the seed of the serpent has also been handicapped because these disembodied spirits need flesh-and-blood bodies through which to express their desires. Thus, they seek every opportunity to possess the bodies of human beings in carrying out their plans. Sometimes that control is actual; often it is through suggestion and by evil inspiration.
Sometimes it is conscious, willing possession; more often it is unconscious, unwilling possession of those who have not “put on the whole armour of God.” In the days of our Lord many were physically possessed.
The envy and jealousy of the leaders of Jewry were also ready vehicles of expression, for these men were usable in the Satanic endeavor to destroy Jesus, the Christ. Thus the Lord could say to the Jews who had thus lent themselves to carry out the purpose of the Evil One:
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44)
The New American Standard Update renders this verse:
“You are of {your} father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own {nature} for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (NAU)
The New International Version renders it:
“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (NIV)
The New King James states:
“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (NKJ)
In the process of the warfare between the two, the seed of the serpent and that of the woman, the denizens of the deep have been recruiting and continually increasing the army of human cohorts supporting them. Legions of evil spirits from the abyss have taken possession of many, body, soul and spirit.
The man who denies these fundamental principles regarding the activities of evil ones, the fearful one or shades of the nether world, speaks out of his ignorance of actualities. In fact, his very ignorance makes him liable to be influenced by the evil wiles of the Rephaim (the Jews),who today are moving into position for the Battle of that Great Day of God Almighty. Already strong nations have succumbed to their influence and power.
ORIGIN OF EVIL AGGRESSION: Wars of aggression have their birth in the Bottomless Pit and in modern times there is strong indication that many of the leaders of these forces of evil aggression are and were demon possessed. Stalin, with his concentration camps, torture chambers and murder trains manifested in his life and activities, and in his fits of uncontrollable temper, every mark of such possession. But with his death the Rephaim (the Jews),were still not without an army of willing cohorts and leaders to do their bidding. (For there were many Jews ready and willing to take Stalin’s place)
FALL OF BABYLON: Isaiah declares that with the fall of Babylon the Rephaim, or disembodied spirits from hell, would be stirred into tremendous activity: “Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at they coming: it stirreth up the dead (the Rephaim) for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.” (Isaiah 14:9)
HE-GOAT LEADERS: The Hebrew word translated “chief ones” is “Attud” and means “he-goat leaders.” It is the same word used by Ezekiel to designate evil leadership among God’s people and those who have oppressed them, whom He will judge for their wickedness:
“As for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats (Attud). Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture...ye must foul the residue with your feet?” (Ezekiel 34:17-18)
Here we also have reference to the leaders of the goat nations of Matthew 25 whom the Lord will judge at His coming. Who are these nations and their leaders who are stirred up today...First, we have the “he-goat leaders” within the Israel lands, at Washington, in London and among the clergy, endeavoring to lead Israel astray, turning the nation away from their God-given laws and trying to substitute the injustice of socialization and regimentation for the justice and equity of the commandments, statutes and judgments of the Lord. But who else is referred to? Can we locate the center of the present activities of the Rephaim?
DEMONIC LEADERS: In the past we have pointed out the devilish acts of the leaders of the Kremlin. Moscow (was - WM) is the center or field headquarters of the Rephaim (the Jews),as they press the fight against God’s Kingdom. But why the marked acceleration in activities just now? With the passing of time, its authority and rule, these disembodied spirits of the nether world recognize more clearly than men that judgment is coming and their time is very short.
They are now making one last supreme endeavor to prevent the consummation of the age and delay the coming of judgment. The evil spirits animating Stalin and the men under him have seized complete control of the leaders of the Kremlin and every evidence indicates that the spirits of demons from the Bottomless Pit are in control of the northern hordes whose leaders are ready and willing to do their bidding. Only thus can one rationalize the diabolical activities behind the iron curtain.
EAST vs WEST: It is the East against the West; the fearful ones from the great deep or abyss moving through the control of Soviet Russia to defeat Israel and destroy the Kingdom. The Rephaim, the serpent’s seed, have succeeded in recruiting millions of willing and unwilling subjects to carry out their bidding. Esdras saw all this and exclaims:
“And thou, Asia, that art partaker of the hope of Babylon, and art the glory of her person: Woe be unto thee, thou wretch, because thou hast made thyself like unto her; and hast decked thy daughters in whoredom, that they might please and glory in thy lovers, which have always desired to commit whoredom with thee! Thou has followed her that is hated in all her works and inventions: Therefore saith God, I will send plagues upon thee; widowhood, poverty, famine, sword, and pestilence, to waste thy houses with destruction and death. And the glory of thy power shall be dried up as a flower, when the heat shall arise that is sent over thee.” (2 Esdras 15:46-50)
And who has always been hated?
“And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.” (Malachi 1:3‑4; Romans 9:13)
Russia is of the east and now aspires to also take over all the territory once under the rule and domination of the Succession of Babylonian Empires. Under Hitler Germany was hated and now, as declared by Esdras, the Kremlin is following her in all her works and inventions. Already poverty, famine and sword have visited their land and pestilence has followed. But note the statement by Esdras concerning the “heat” which will arise over them. Can this be a reference to the tremendous heat that will be released by atomic bombs?
TRANSFERRED FROM BERLIN TO MOSCOW AND TEL AVIV: Today the seat of preparation for aggressive warfare has shifted from Berlin to Moscow to Tel Aviv as a whole nation and its leaders become instruments for devastating war in the plans of the Rephaim. Closely associated with the doctrines of Communism are the acts of these disembodied spirits from the great deep, for Communism (Rabbi Stephen Wise, said Communism was Judaism), as carried out under the leadership of the Soviets, is atheistic and, thus, anti-God and anti-Christ. John, in Revelation, was given a vision of their activities as they use nations to accomplish their purpose:
“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” (Revelation 16:13-14)
APPROACH OF THE GREAT DAY: Within the Israel lands fellow travelers with Communists are supporting the plans of these demons. Those giants of the darkness, in the days of their earthly existence prior to the Deluge, exercised world-wide domination and used their power to rule with violence, producing chaos which finally necessitated the destruction of the antediluvian world. Today their cohorts are again seeking world-wide power and they are filling the earth with violence and blood, evil-inspired by these demons of darkness. The Battle of that Great Day of God Almighty is very, very near.
EXTENSIVE ACTIVITIES: the ramifications and resulting evils wherever these denizens of the deep have infiltrated into the activities of men, or succeeded in possessing individuals in their plans of aggression, is almost inconceivable. They range from the work of independent individuals, in their restricted circle of sinful acts, to groups, and even nations, who are being used in this warfare as the seed of the serpent makes one more, supreme effort to overcome the seed of the woman.
WAR AGAINST THE KINGDOM: The Rephaim (the Jews), are fully aware of the potential possibilities in the splitting of the atom and, having taken full possession of the Soviet leaders, are moving heaven and earth to acquire the wherewithal to release its energy in their warfare against His Kingdom.
Truly we are not wrestling against flesh and blood but against the powers of malignant evil as these giants of the darkness move to consummate their plans and prevent, if possible, the return of Jesus Christ to take the Throne of His father David.
This they hope to accomplish by destroying the Kingdom and the Throne. Already Great Britain, the seat of the Throne, is beaten to her knees as the denizens of the deep stir her leaders and people to propagate doctrines of men rather than the commandments, statutes and judgments of the Lord. The United States also is suffering from similar attacks that will become very acute in the months ahead.
Fortunately, He is coming suddenly and will appear just in time to seal the doom of these fearful one. Then will be fulfilled:
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war...And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” (Revelation 19:11-21; 20:1-3) (KJV)
AGREEMENT WITH HELL: Into the Bottomless Pit of the great deep the Devil will find lodging, chained there with his seed. But, lest we forget, the unprincipled rulers of the U.S.S.R. in the Kremlin are cohorts of the Rephaim, seed of the serpent, and are hastening today to fulfill the program of the evil ones.
The Anglo-Saxon world can no more reach agreement with the Soviets than they could expect to secure the consent of the demons of hell to a trace for the purpose of establishing righteousness and peace. It would be well if our nation, and Great Britain also, would awaken to the realization that God’s injunction that we are to make no league with them should be implicitly obeyed. Any agreement whatever with the Soviets is, as Isaiah declared, a covenant with death and an agreement with hell. (Isaiah 28:18)
Evil, malignant and terrifying, is being spawned behind the Soviet iron curtain (and in Tel Aviv) as the leaders of the Kremlin (the Jews), dominated by the Rephaim, press the battle in this critical hour of their warfare against God.
