Now we have all heard the judeochristians make a whole religion out of this verse; yet upon examination it is found wanting for it is obviously false on the surface if one will be honest. Following are 16 different translations of that verse.

Now we know that this verse is not true because of other verses that are exactly opposite of what this one says:

John 3:16

1). (ASV)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

(ASV) 1John 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
