John you are always saying I should read the Bible, which I do, but apparently you don’t. Could it be that when God slew the Egyptian children that it was partly in response to Pharaohs own words?
“And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.” (Exodus 1:22)
Now was he speaking to his OWN PEOPLE and telling them to kill their sons? That does not make sense does it. No he was telling his people to throw all the Hebrew boys into the river, thus killing them.
No he told his people this because the midwives would not do what he ordered, therefore, he was ordering his own people to do it.
Now if what you say was true, then tell me why Moses’ mother was afraid that he would be found.
“And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, SHE HID HIM THREE MONTHS. AND WHEN SHE COULD NOT LONGER HIDE HIM, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.” (Exodus 2:1-3)
You will notice by the following scriptures that the Pharaoh only spoke to two of the midwives, and they out of all the midwives of the Hebrews were, apparently, the only two out of all the midwives that feared God enough to disobey the king.
If there were no danger to the Hebrew’s boy children, then why did Moses’ mother hide him three months? Why did she go to all the trouble to build him an ark of bulrushes, when she could no longer hide him?
John you read into the scriptures what you want because you want to believe that Yahweh is unjust, unfair and unreasonable. For that gives you a reason to reject Christianity.

“MOSES WAS BORN AT A TIME WHEN THE PHARAOH, THE RULER OF EGYPT, HAD GIVEN ORDERS THAT NO MORE MALE HEBREW CHILDREN SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO LIVE. The Hebrew slaves had been reproducing so fast that the king felt threatened by a potential revolt against his authority. To save the infant Moses, his mother made a little vessel of papyrus waterproofed with asphalt and pitch. She placed Moses in the vessel, floating among the reeds on the bank of the Nile River.
By God's providence, Moses‑‑ the child of a Hebrew slave‑‑ was found and adopted by an Egyptian princess, the daughter of the Pharaoh himself. He was reared in the royal court as a prince of the Egyptians: "And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds" (Acts 7:22). At the same time the Lord determined that Moses should be taught in his earliest years by his own mother. This meant that he was founded in the faith of his fathers, although he was reared as an Egyptian (Ex. 2:1‑10). Birth. Moses was born about 1520 B.C. and, according to Manetho (Josephus Against Apion 1.26; 2.2), at Heliopolis; his birth, according to Josephus (Ant. 2.9.2‑4), having been foretold to Pharaoh by the Egyptian magicians, and to his father by a dream. At the time of Moses' birth the decree commanding the slaying of all male children was in force (Exodus 1:10,16), but his mother was by some means able to conceal him and hid him away for three months. When concealment was no longer possible she placed him in a small boat or basket of papyrus‑‑ perhaps from an Egyptian belief that the plant is a protection from crocodiles. She placed him among the reeds of the Nile and left his sister to watch the result. The daughter of Pharaoh, who may well have been the famous Queen Hatshepsut, and who herself a little later assumed the throne of Egypt, came to the river to bathe, saw the basket, and had it brought to her. It was opened, and the cry of the child moved the princess to compassion. She determined to rear it as her own. The sister was then at hand to recommend as a Hebrew nurse the baby's mother, who was hired by the princess (2:1‑9). And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.” (Exodus 1:10, 16)
The reason that Moses’ mother was fearful was because SOME OF THE MIDWIVES DID DO AS THEY WERE TOLD AND KILLED THE BABY BOYS. Just as today, there are people who will betray their own countrymen who are trying to protect his family from the ravages of the federal government. They will betray them even though they know that an innocent man will be killed. Just as what happened at Ruby Ridge, Idaho where government assassins killed a woman and her son, because they had a religious belief that the jews didn’t like.
Then the government assassins murdered almost 100 people at Waco, Texas because they did not have a government approved religion; and because they believed in the 2nd amendment to the Constitution.
Then the government agency, the FBI provided the explosives, the man to build the bomb, video taped the truck from point of origin to the destination under one of the WTC towers, and then actually filmed the explosion. This was in the trial transcript that was on the Internet for about a year or two.
Then the government assassins exploded a bomb at the Olympics when it was held in Atlanta, Ga., and tried to blame it on an innocent man. But fortunately the man was able to prove his innocence.
Then government assassins blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City, OK. Then they blew flight TWA 800 out of the air. And many other assassinations they have committed. ALL WITH AMERICANS BORN IN THIS COUNTRY, AND WHO WOULD SWARE THAT THEY ARE PATRIOTIC. Just as some of the Midwives did in Egypt. They killed the boy children because the government told them to do so.
Even now the federal government is bombing the hell out of Afghanistan and HAVE YET TO PRODUCE ANY PROOF THAT IT WAS THEY OR OSMA BEN LADEN THAT DID THE DEED. Nor can they because many believe that it was the Mossad and the CIA that did the deed.
So there you have it, our own people have been our own worst enemies over the years because of people who do evil deeds because their “Government” told them to do so.
Yet men were hung after World War II, for following orders of their “Government.” So if the federal government is so much against killing then why did they not execute the assassins that killed the woman and boy, and the people at Waco, Texas; the ones who blew up the federal building and etc.
No John you can blame God all you want but you know in your own mind that He is just and reasonable and that it is man who is unjust and unreasonable, and unfair it their dealings.
