Wrapping Deception in Misinformation
A book titled “Jerry Falwell and the Jews” authored by Merrill Simon who is himself a Jew. It is an adroit endeavor by the author to present questions to be answered that will assist Rev. Falwell to maintain the accepted assumption by Christians that the Jews are Israel in the world today. Furthermore, the impression is emphasized that the Jews as God’s chosen people are the recipients of all the promises and blessings that would increasingly become Israel’s inheritance in these latter days. In answering the questions presented by Simon, Rev. Falwell endeavors to confirm that Abraham along with his descendants were all Jews. Also it is stated that the apostles and writers of the New Testament, were all Jews as well as Jesus Christ.
The facts are completely overlooked that scriptural and historical evidence confirms that the House of Israel, is a distinct and separate people and therefore other than Jews. It is the posterity of these descendants of Abraham that was to become a great people in the latter days. They were to become a “multitude of nations.” (Genesis 48:19) Both Falwell and Simon confirm that the Jews possess no such mark of identity by designating them as a small nation. The only race today that confirms with this mark of identification, and many other marks also, is the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic and kindred people. Furthermore it is over the House of Israel, not the Jews, that God set watchmen to warn them that their ancient enemy the Amalekites (Soviet Russia) would be preparing to attack as the age draws to a close. When the time arrived for the battle of the Great Day of God Almighty to be scheduled, the Prophet Ezekiel is addressed as the type of the watchman God would appoint to be set over the House of Israel for the purpose of sounding an alarm:
“So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.” (Ezekiel 33:7)
This is the message to be proclaimed:
“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel.” (Ezekiel 33:11)
The mission of the church, as fishers of men, has been the call to individuals to accept the invitation that God has sent them to receive Christ as their Redeemer and Savior in order to secure citizenship in His Kingdom. However we have now arrived at that time in history when, under the pressure of God’s hand resting heavily upon His people, they shall, as a nation, be forced to awaken and acknowledge their identity and assume their responsibilities as God’s Covenant people. Unfortunately Christian leaders ignore this national phase of the assigned mission and thus become watchmen who are asleep at their post.
Isaiah addressed messages first to the nations composing the then Euphratean civilization. He passed judgment on that ancient godless culture and the verdict of time has confirmed the accuracy of the prophet’s predictions, for the Euphratean civilization passed away as prophesied.
Then Isaiah looked ahead to the rise of a new civilization in the west and he addressed messages to a people residing in the Isles north and west of Palestine. He used terms that identified them as the House of Israel but they had become known by another name, that is, the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic, Celtic and kindred people. This people of the book arrived in the Isles following a great period of trekking in tribal migrations westward through southern and central Europe. They were prophetically counseled by the prophet to first remain silent, or hidden, until their strength was renewed:
“Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength.” (Isaiah 41:1)
As pointed out in “They Knew!” some of the disciples of our Lord and members of the early Church arrived in the Isles shortly after His crucifixion and proclaimed the glad tidings of the Gospel. The people in the Isles began to draw near to the Lord, as they accepted the truth that Christ was their Redeemer and Savior. Then the day came when they started to break their silence as the Bible was printed and made available for the common people to read during the Reformation epoch. This was followed by missionary activities that carried the Gospel into many lands.
The following is not addressed to the Jews but to those of modern Israel who had forgotten that Abraham is their father:
“Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.” (Isaiah 51:1-2)
We have heeded this directive and proclaimed our identity and now the urgent call is to:
“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up they voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 581)
What are our transgressions and national sins? They are the failure to keep the terms of the Covenant God made with our forefathers at Mount Sinai. We, today, suffer the very calamities listed under the “But” clauses of that Covenant. God’s Kingdom people are being called to keep the terms of the Covenant and restore the administration of the Commandments, Statutes and Judgments of the Law of the Lord as the law of their land. Although we have failed as yet to turn from our evil ways as a nation, God has decreed:
“As I live, saith the Lord God, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you.” (Ezekiel 20:33)
Then, in order that righteousness may prevail, with the depraved and incorrigible removed from His Kingdom, the Lord has declared:
“I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me.” (Ezekiel 20:37-38)
Ecclesiastical leaders and Rev. Falwell, as revealed in the above book, have failed to consider the evidence definitely identifying the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic and kindred peoples as the House of Israel in the world today. This places them in the category of sleeping watchmen rather than being away and sounding the alarm in this present hour of great national peril. It is of them that Isaiah thus speaks:
“His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark: sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.” (Isaiah 56:10-11)
Can there be any doubt that men like Jim Bakker (Jew), Mike Evans (Jew), Billy Graham (Jew), Kenneth Copelan (Jew), Robert Schuler, Oral Roberts, Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell (A so-called Christian Zionist), John Hagee, V.W. Grant, Larry Buricett, Paul Crouch, Skip Heitzig, Hal Lindsey (Jew), Chuck Missler, Mark Eastman, David Hocking, Jack Van Impe, Binny Hinn (Jew), Frank Peretti, Chuck Smith, Toni Eareckson Tada, Tom Cloud, Ted Bachr, John McDowell are just such men?
Smith and Goodspeed translate the 11th verse as follows:
“such are shepherds who have no intelligence; they have turned all of them to their own way, each without exception to his own gain.”
The above referenced Falwell bok reveals a failure to understand prophetic directives and the inevitable truth regarding the identity of the modern House of Israel in the world today. They lack complete conception of our national obligations as His Kingdom people. Apart from preaching the Gospel of salvation, they glory in obtaining a great following with millions supporting their building accomplishments. It is of them the Psalmist is speaking:
“Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places (schools, colleges and libraries) to all generations; they call their land after their own names.” (Psalm 49:11)
The entire list of questions and subsequent responses set forth in the above book is predicated upon the assumption that all scriptural references to Israel and the prediction as to Israel’s past, present and future are written and spoken of the Jew and the Jew only. But the Scriptural record reveals that the Jews, as we know them today, did not come into existence until centuries after Abraham’s day.
Also the record reveals that the Jews are the descendants of the Khazar tribes of Eastern Russia and Western Mongolia, and Turkey. A volume of literature demonstrates this assertion to be beyond question, which evidence, confirming this appraisal is completely ignored by both the author of the above book who asks the question and he that answers them. As Isaiah indicates, their ignorance brings into question their intelligence.
Rev. Falwell states that God says He will bless those who bless the Jews and curse those who curse the Jews. That statement is untrue, Abraham was not a descendant of Judah nor of Esau, and therefore could not be a Jew.
“I will bless them that bless tee, and curse him that curseth thee.” (Genesis 12:3)
It follows that, in adding the word Jew to this declaration, an endeavor is being made to beguile the uninformed into believing that Abraham was a Jew and that the Jews are the recipients of these promises, as well as being the only people of the Covenant.
The endeavor throughout the above book is to depict Paul and the disciples of our Lord as Jews, thus revealing complete ignorance of the ethnological inheritance of the different tribes and families of the race of the book. Take for instance, Paul’s statement:
“Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.” (Romans 11:1)
Speaking of his racial background, Paul declared he was “an Hebrew of the Hebrews” but, in the category of ecclesiastical law, he was a Pharisee. (Philipans 3:5) By citizenship he was a free born Roman (Acts 22:25-28) but, due to his religious affiliation, he declared himself to be a Jew. (Acts 21:39; 22:3) Therefore, it was only because Paul, a Benjamite, had accepted the religion of the Jews that he could be designated as a Jew.
What was true of Paul, in regard to his religion, was also true of all but one of the disciples of our Lord. The exception was Judas Iscariot, who was Judas of Kerioth and therefore a (blood) Jew, not a Galilean. The name “Iscariot” is deduced to be from “Ish Kerioth;” that is, “a man of Kerioth,” a town in the land of Judah. (Joshua 15:25) The other eleven were Galileans and there were no Jews, racially speaking, in Galilee.
It was Judas, the Real Jew, who betrayed Christ and it was the Jews who fought against the Christians, persecuted them and drove them from Jerusalem. Apart from the few Jews who have today claimed to be Christians, they are still strongly opposed to Christianity and would, were it in their power, continue to persecute Christians. One need but read what is set forth in the Talmud to recognize the truth of this assertion. John tells us what developed during the ministry of Christ, following the Jewish determination to destroy Him: “After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.” (John 7:1)
The inference is clear. Because the Benjamintes were residing in Galilee, and were therefore the Galileans, it was safe for Jesus to sojourn there. Accordingly, Jesus confined His activities to that territory for the time being and kept away from Jewry. It was not until the hour of His crucifixion drew near that He set His face to go to Jerusalem and into the territory occupied by the Jews.
The willful ignorance of the Christian world and its leaders, as revealed in the above book concerning the distinction between one who is a Jew by his religion and has led to much confusion. When Peter denied that he was one of the disciples of Jesus at the time of our Lord’s trial, he was told, “Thy speech bewrayeth thee.” Ferrar Fenton translates this, “For your dialect proves it plainly.” (Matthew 26:73)
Peter, although by religion a Jew, was not one racially, for he was a Galilean and of the tribe of Benjamin. His dialect would be that of a Galilean and therefore not Jewish. It was known in Jewry that the men of galilee were the followers of Christ. Consequently, at His trial, Peter, known to be a Galilean, was immediately accused of being one of His disciples.
Contrary to the declarations of many present day leaders in Christendom, and Rev. Falwell’s assumption in the above book that the Jews were responsible for giving Christianity to the world, it is not true. The phrase, “Judeo-Christian heritage,” so often expressed by them, is an absurd misnomer. The Jews persecuted the early Christians and church and are till in opposition to both today.
Much ado is made in the Falwell book that the establishment of the Zionist State in 1948 was the fulfillment of the predicted return of Israel to Palestine. It was indeed the fulfillment of prophecy, not that of the return of the Jews who had rejected Him and would not have Him to rule over them. Thus Christ said, as He looked down the corridor of time tot he day when the Jews would elect to acquire True Israel’s heritage: “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither (that is, back to Palestine), and slay them before (in the presence of) me.” (Luke 19:27)
Ferrar Fenton translates the last phase of this verse, “bring them here and execute them in my presence.” His presence will be revealed in the prelude to the second advent., that is, when the Sign of the Son of man appears (Matthew 24:30) with the result (Ezekiel 43:2): “and the earth shined with his glory.”
In that day and at that time it was made known to John on the Isle of Patmos that the inhabitants of the earth will seek to hide at the revealed presence of our Lord. John records them as exclaiming: “For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:17)
In that day the death knell will sound for the Zionist State, for the verdict “slay them before me” will then be carried out. Rev. Falwell and Simon will very likely label this as anti-Semitism and the writer of this as an anti-Semitic. So be it. The Jews have successfully made this label a remarkable weapon to destroy anyone undertaking to expose Jewish intrigue and their planned subversive activities. The very mention of the term anti-Semitic frightens politicians and keeps them and others comfortably silent so far as the Jews are concerned.
The Falwell book stresses the need of destroying all those who can thus be labeled. They purport to convey that only the Arabs are committed to terrorism in the turmoil in the Middle East. The following facts reveal at least a reason for such terrorism on the part of the Arabs. Wen the Lord moves in judgment against those who have rejected Him and who, at the time of His trial before Pilate, became guilty of His death as a result of their false testimony, will the Jews condemn our Lord as anti-Semitic? Rev. Falwell in his answers in the above book claims that the Jews were not responsible for Christ’s death. The Scriptures clearly show It was the Jews who did the actual killing of Christ and not the Romans: “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.” (Acts 5:30; (Matthew 27:25; Luke 23:23-33; 24:20; John 19:6; Acts 2:36; 3:14-15; 4:8-11; 5:30; 7:52; 10:39; 13:27-29; 1 Thessalonians 2:14-15)
Just as the Jews are thus declared guilty in the death of Christ, so they are responsible for planning the seeds of terrorism in Palestine when, by force and the instigation of terrorism, they succeeded in establishing the Zionist State in that land. We do not condone the acts of terrorism by whomsoever committed but for Rev. Falwell and Simon to write as though the Arabs only, and not the Jews, are thus guilty reminds us of the aptness of the truism, “Well may he smell fire, whose gown burns.”
Evan a casual investigation of Zionist atrocities committed in Palestine tars those who are so vehement in their denunciation of intolerance as the most intolerant. According to a very reliable British source, an official of the Jewish Agency in February 1948, prior to the establishment of the Zionist State, explained to an Englishman the methods which the Zionists would adopt in Palestine. They would commence their campaign with two or three massacres. “When we massacre,” this Zionist said, “we shall not only kill the men; we shall massacre the women and children and their cows, sheep and oxen.”
The Zionists followed this directive. Thus the massacre of Arab old men, women and children by Jews was a well-calculated and cold-blooded plan. It was intended to terrorize the Arab civilian population and cause an Arab exodus form Palestine. As a result of these massacres, about 300,000 Arabs left their homes, towns and villages as well as personal possessions and fled for refuge in neighboring Arab countries. The declared objective of Rev. Falwell and other evangelists of securing a worldwide revival through the preaching of salvation is definitely unattainable. It is not the proclamation of the Gospel of Grace that will bring such an awakening but rather when the Gospel of the Kingdom has first been accepted by the people of the Kingdom, following their identity as God’s Chosen Servants: “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24:14)
We know of no Christian leader or evangelists who, lacking in the knowledge of the Identity of the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic and kindred people as the House of Israel in the world today, has any conception as to what the Gospel of the Kingdom implies. Malachi succinctly refers tot he Gospel of the Kingdom declaring: “Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.” (Malachi 4:4)
Only when we as a nation awaken to our origin and the commandments, Statutes and Judgments of the law of the Lord become the law of our land will we have conformed with the requirements of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Then, according to Isaiah: “And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” (Isaiah 60:3)
The Prophet Micah enlarges upon this, declaring that the people “shall flow (come cheerfully) unto it (to be enlightened).” (Micah 4:1) Micah confirms the fact that the nations outside the Kingdom boundaries will turn toward the light and perfection of the Kingdom administration and to its laws for direction: “And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain (kingdom) of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” (Micah 4:2)
The crux in this reorientation of national preferences is succinctly stated by Micah: “For the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” (Micah 4:2)
Then, as Jesus said when the Gospel of the Kingdom has thus become a witness unto all nations, the end will come. That end is the end of the present world order or age and the beginning of a new order of the ages when: “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15)
However, before all this comes to pass, the Lord is to use the Amalekites (Soviet Russia) as a rod of chastisement to compel His Kingdom people, the Anglo-Saxon, Germanic and kindred nations, to turn to Him for deliverance from such a foe. Joel in the second chapter of his book gives a vivid account of that coming attack, followed by national consternation as the result of the initial success of this evil foe. Through this Prophet the Lord. thus addresses His people in this coming Day of the Lord which Joel states will be “very terrible.”: “Therefore, also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.” (Joel 2:12-13)
The call then goes out to blow the trumpet and call for a solemn assembly, gathering all the people, young and old, with the spiritual leaders commanded to offer the Israel prayer: “Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should thy say among the people, Where is their God?” (Joel 2:17)
Joel declares the Lord will then be jealous for His land and pity His people and as Ezekiel declares: “And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury will come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken.” (Ezekiel 38:18-19)
Then follows the account of a great earthquake with storm, tempest and fire and great hailstones that destroy God’s foes and the foes of His Kingdom. Then the Lord thus states: “Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord...So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.” (Ezekiel 38:23; 39:7)
When all this comes to pass, the Lord thus exclaims (Ezekiel 38:8, 22): “Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God, this is the day whereof I have spoken...So the house of Israel (not the Jews) shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day forward.”
